Things to come...

Hey everyone! I don't have time to do a full on review today but I wanted to post a little update and some things that are coming up. I probably won't be able to post another review until Saturday late afternoon or on Sunday sometime. I have a test tomorrow and a test on Friday that I need to study for. Football game on Saturday so we'll see when I can post another review.

Things coming up:
I have some reviews in mind coming up, I think I'm going to review my Clarisonic, I've had it for about 2 months now so I can give it good, detailed review.

Some other things I have in mind are the Got 2 Be blow dry heat protecting spray, NARS Laguna Bronzer (because I'm loving it) and some sigma brushes. Let me know what you think of those ideas.

Some other things that are coming up and I'm really looking forward to are Mac Venomous Villains collection! Comes out next Thursday here in the states and me and my cousin have appointments to go get our makeup done with the new collection. I also have some permanent items I need to pick up so I'll be doing a haul/review on all those products!
Another thing is my mom is going to Atlantic City this weekend and she's going to Lush to pick me up some things so I'll be doing a haul/initial review on those products!

I hope everyone is having a good week and look at for these posts coming up!

EOS Lip Balm

Hello everyone! Today's review is all about a product that I'm crazy addicted to at the moment! At the moment I've been addicted to two lip balms, one is Nivea Kiss of Smoothness (LOVE) and the other called EOS Lip Balm and it's a very unique product.

I'm going to review this one because I had never even heard of it until I saw it in my local Walgreen a while ago. (it was around $3) Its a lip balm but it comes in a round sphere, its unlike any lip balm I've ever seen. Its definitely eye catching. The packaging is not the only thing that intrigued me. I love things that are all natural and organic, and this lip balm is just that. Its 95% organic and 100% natural. It really does give my lips a lot of moisture, and they need it, I have very dry lips. It consists of Shea butter and vitamin E, and it goes on clear.

The flavor I picked up is summer fruit. It smells great, just like fruit punch and tastes like it too. They offer many flavors: summer fruit, lemon drop (with SPF 15), honeysuckle honeydew, medicated tangerine, and sweet mint. I would really like to try the lemon drop and sweet mint.

Not only is it moisturizing but I find its very easy to locate when I throw it in my purse, because of its unique shape you can just reach in and find it easily. This is also something I've been loving because I hate having to dig for my chapstick. :)

I'll put some pictures below, I hope you guys find this chapstick as interesting as I do. It really is a great chapstick, I have trouble finding good chapsticks that give my lips the moisture that they need but this one does the trick. I hope you all try it out, you won't regret it.

Thanks and hope you enjoyed this! See you in my next post!
I found my lip balm at Walgreens but I'm sure you can find them at other drugstores, walmart, target, etc.

Maybelline Eyeliners

Hey girls (and guys), today my review is on two Maybelline eyeliners that I've been trying out. I use to use Clinique Quickliner, I used it up and decided to go on the hunt for a dupe that was more affordable as the Clinique one is $14.50. Don't get me wrong, its a GREAT eyeliner but I just wanted to find a drugstore one that was a dupe.  (if you would like a review on the Clinique Quickliner let me know)

The two eyeliners that I picked up were the Maybelline liners in Unstoppable, which is a fairly new liner. I also picked up their gel liner because I wanted to see if I liked gel liner before I picked up an expensive one. I got both of these at Walgreens (they were having a buy one get one 50% off) and the Unstoppable was around $5 ($3.50 after 50% off) and the gel liner was around $10.

I tried the gel liner first so I'll start there. The name of the liner is actually Eye Studio™ Lasting Drama™ Gel Eyeliner.  I had never used a gel liner before so I thought this would be a good one to try. I had heard about it from some gurus on youtube. It looks just like a regular gel liner and comes with a little brush to apply it. The color I picked up was just called "Brown."  I always wear dark brown liner, I just think it looks less harsh on my eyes. Anyways, I've been wearing it for a while and my thoughts are this, it was VERY easy to apply. I thought that the consistency might be hard but it was very creamy and went on smoothly. The color was just what I was looking for, a dark brown. The staying power is also great, I did not notice it smudging or wearing off at the end of the day. I would definitely recommend this product and I will be buying more colors.

The next liner I got was the new Unstoppable liner. It is a self sharpening liner that you twist up. I picked this up in the color Espresso which is a very dark brown. To be quite honest I didn't expect much from this liner when I first bought it. I had used a Cover Girl liner that looked similar to it before and I didn't like it, but I thought I'd give it a go. I was very wrong about this liner. I expected it to be hard to work with and not creamy. The application of the liner is VERY smooth. You don't have to press hard at all to apply the color. The staying power on this eyeliner is also great, I didn't notice any smudging or wearing off. I would recommend this product as well.

All in all my experience with Maybelline liners has been a great one! I went into it not expecting much and to my surprise I was very wrong. You should be able to find these liners at your local drugstores. If you're looking for a liner please try these, they are very affordable and you won't be disappointed.

Hope you guys enjoyed this! See you in my next post!

A Lush Review

Today my review is going to be on one of my favorite companies, Lush. I don't live near a Lush so I've always just had to do some research and order online, so far I've never come across an item I didn't like, well only one but that's pretty good right? Anyways, I'm going to review some products from my last order:
Fair Trade Foot Lotion
Comforter Bubble Bar
Creamy Candy Bubble Bar
Flosty Gritter Bubble Bar
Rock Star Soap
Sultana of Soap
Ring of Roses Soap

Two samples: Handy Gurugu and Lemony Flutter

Ok, so let's get started.

I'm going to go in order so I'll start with Fair Trade Foot Lotion. First of all, its very PINK. Which I love because I am definitely a pink girl. A lot of people say it smells like peppermint but I definitely smell spearmint in it, it reminds of me of Wrigley's spearmint gum, I love the smell. Its not a very thick lotion, which I like because thick lotions can be a little greasy I find. It feels really good on the feet and really has moisturized my dry, cracked feet, they are looking a lot better. It really is a great foot lotion, do I think its the best? I wouldn't say its the best but it is really good and since its fair trade it goes towards a great cause.  :)  I WOULD recommend this product.

Next is Comforter Bubble Bar. Let me first say that I LOVE bubble bars, I have never really been one for bath bombs but bubble bars are a must for me, I love bubble baths. To be honest I ordered the Comforter because there is so much hype about it. Its also one of the biggest bars so you'll get the most use out of it. I haven't gotten a chance to try this one yet but my initial impression is good, its smells so good, a little like Creamy Candy but it has blackberry scent to it. I can't wait to try it out.

Creamy Candy is a bubble bar that I have purchases many times, I love it. Its pink and smells like Rock Star Soap. I love the smell of it but I think what I love most is that inside of it are bits of shea butter or cocoa butter, one of those, so it not only gives bubbles to your bath but it really makes its moisturizing. I would recommend this if you like sweet smells.

Flosty Gritter is my hands down, all time favorite bubble bar. Its pink, its glittery and its smells so good! The scent is really hard to describe. I was describing it to my cousin the other day and all I could say is that it smells like a "sexy vanilla." I'm not sure how else to describe it. It smells like vanilla, but not the sugary sweet vanilla. I love to take a bath without before going out at night because the scent lingers on my skin. I think everyone should give it a try.

Now I'll review the soaps, I'll admit I'm a little new to Lush's soaps, I normally stick to bath products, but I'm branching out and hope to try all of their soap.
Rock Star has to be my favorite out of the soap that I ordered. Its pink (have I mentioned that I like pink?) and it smells just like sweet candy. I love sweet scents so I really like it. It also lathers really well, I would definitely recommend.
Sultana would be my second favorite, it has a really light scent. It smells fresh and creamy to me. It lathers well and appears to be very moisturizing. I would recommend this if your looking for a light scent and a bit of moisture.
Ring of Roses is my least favorite. Number one, it does not smell like roses, at least not to me. It smells like lemons. Number two, I believe its marketed at a moisturizing soap and that it is not, it left me feeling a bit dry. It does lather well. I wouldn't say I wouldn't recommend this, it just wasn't what I was expecting.

Lastly, my samples.
Handy Gurugu is my favorite and there is no doubt that I'll be buying a full size. I always have very dry hands and this cream does the trick. Its very moisturizing without feeling greasy. Some people say it smells herbally, but I just don't get that scent, to be honest it smells a bit like cinnamon buns, and I love it. I can't wait to get the full size and I think you should all try it!

Lemony Flutter is something I liked as well and I think I might get the full size when I run out of sample. It smells very lemony but not like cleaner, most lemon smells remind me of cleaner but this one doesn't. It is VERY thick but it soaks in quickly. I have been using it on my feet and it has made a world of difference. I would encourage everyone to try it, its a great product.

So there's my first review, I hope it was help full and that everyone enjoyed it   :)  If you have any lush products that you love please leave a comment and tell me about them! Also if you have any questions about my experience with lush feel free to ask! Do you guys want more lush reviews?
